180knots is a four piece band based in Torquay, Vic, Australia. Best described as Coastal Rock (soul) with blues/reggae overtones. All orginal songs are written from a passionate perspective on life and fun!

All local surf lads, 180knots combines the influneces of Funk, Rock, Reggae and Commercial Pop/Rock to deliver reality based songs in an exciting format.

Andrew (Drums/Vox) and Ross (bass) supply the rhythm engine, while Bruce (Lead Guitar) ands Stewart (Guitar/Vox) head up the embelishment section. Soon to be joined by a brass section they are looking froward to recording their first EP in mid 2005.

Fat songs with 'left of centre lyrics' makes for an interesting mix up-vibe rock tunes and soul haunting ballads.
