A Breath Worth Taking is screamo/indie band based out of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They've all been in previous bands, but came together in March of 2007 to form "A Breath Worth Taking".

With the release of their EP "Alone", A Breath Worth Taking started playing show after show trying to get their name out. They are now in the studio recording another EP so expect that soon.

In the short seven months that they have been together the band has really taken off. The band's dedication, attitude, and enthusiasm has got them booked with bands such as: School Boy Humor, Ivoryline, Lucy's Revenge, Dance Club Massacre, Edinbergh, Blinded Black, The Messenger, The Ability, Ambellina, Katsumoto, One Night In Paris, The Jonah Veil, The Jinx, Die To Yourself, Love Begotten, Submerged In Dirt, Sacrifice To Survival, Remains of Yesterday, and Ashes Of Creation.
