You can find A Darker Romance in the Hickory area of Chesapeake, which is where the members have grown up. Up until about six months ago, the boys were complete strangers and it was an amazing day when they all came together. After trying out many different members, the fathers of ADR, Alex Morales (on drums) and Wayne Butler (on lead guitar), have finally put together a powerhouse team. Cody Loeb contributes to the band his awesome vocal skills. Gabe "The Wookie" Wlodarczyk rocks out on bass and Johnny Freas astounds the world on rhythm guitar. A Darker Romance is best known for their high energy shows and their great crowd interaction. They currently have two CDs out, with high hopes of catching the attention of a record label. Until that day comes, they will continue playing shows where they can maintain their original sound, make friends, and have fun doing what they do best- making music.
