A.O. is a Charlotte, NC native who is ready to make a major move that will definitely make an impact on the
music industry. His music has the versatility and stability that will give him a firm foundation to use as his platform makes his move. Falling in love with music since a very young age, it wasn't until 1992 when he first decided to try and make his own. Influenced by artist such as Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Mobb Deep and the list goes on. Throughout his life he has encountered many people, some are still around and some aren't. The ones he has on his side presently, he feels are there for a reason and will continue to be there well into his future. "I feel like you meet everyone for a reason. Everything in your life happens for a reason. You may not realize what that reason is at first, but somewhere down the road, trust me, you will know." Currently he is working on making his name known in the streets where he's from. Being from a city where nobody has really made an impact in the industry, it's a fight everyday to get respect. Everyone wants to be the first one in the game.......i don't really care about all that, as long as I make it. If I do happen to be first, well that's what's up. It's hard to get a lot of support here but I don't let that stop me. I feel like my city is struggling for an identity. I plan to help give it one."
Being that everything he does, he likes to do "against the grain", he took on the self-name, A.O. which stands for Against All Odds because he feels like when all the negatives are pointed in his direction that's his fuel to come out on top. A.O. a legend in the making.
