chapter 2 theaory of the insane

jack awoke hours later in a daze next to the lake with no idea of what time it was he knew it was late though becouse it was dark jack stumbled back down the trail towards jareds truck hoping he didnt leave without him finaly walking up to the truck jack peekes in the window to see jared passed out listening to music he opens the door and scares the shit out of jared causing him to roll out of the truck onto the ground jared jumped up swiftly and bug-eyed stating "where the fuck did you go ive been here all day trippin out man the first half was looking for you and when i couldnt find you i started trippin out" jack told jared about the foggy lake and azoth and jared told him that thats a fucked up trip and proceeded to say how for 5 hours he was lost in his mind and all the things he was visualizing kept bending and standing out and how the music was warping his brain..jack cuts off jared and states that it wasnt a hallucination.
it was real says jack as he climbs closer to jared do you believe me says jack.
"i think you and need to get some sleep let me drive you home
and your damn lucky i didnt leave you"
jack jumps in the car and tilts the seat back and relaxes his eyes
jack pulls out the box containing the two roaches and lights one up jared says " im good on that,dont want to smoke no more" and proceeds to drive jack home they pull up to his house and jack gets
out following a cloud of smoke "see ya later says jared as he putters off into the distance jack puts out the roach and procceeds to his front door its locked.jack then examines the lock and rigs a paperclip
lockpick and messes with the lock for awhile untill it finaly cracks and opens the door going inside then down the stairs to the basement
once downstairs turning on strobe lights black lights and the tv and laying in his bed the events unfolding seem slightlty different than any prior experience more of a sense of reality was present in the trip like everything was more real than before and only real people stand out differently feeling strange jack drifted off into a deep sleep. visions of fire,electrical rain,riots,society ripping itself apart at
the seems tidalwaves crushing everyone in the eastern hemisphere
leaving nothing but flooded remains of society greedy till the end
as jack wakes his eyes pop open and he rushes out the door he jumps on his bike an heads towards the school hopining hes not to late todayTags: over the counter-culture
