It’s been 4 years since the cousins, or even better, Anacês (anacê = relative, in tupi-guarani, the ancient language of the brazilian natives) got together to create their music.
With maturity achieved on the road, playing in pubs, festivals, big stages, middle of streets, “trios elétricos”, theaters, many cities of Brazil- their home country-, big brazilian radio stations like Brasil2000 in São Paulo and Metrópole FM in Salvador, notes in newspapers, websites and magazines like Rock Brigade, the band has, therefore, became experienced and always ready for new challenges, new stages, new audiences.
Candice, Márcio, Felipe, Flávio and Kinó, since their very first performances in the country side of Bahia (where it all began) until now, have always aimed writing their songs in a way that would make them a true reflection of their souls, their needs, their yearnings, their glories, their journeys.

Surprising the audience in every gig, and with a maturity that had been so far aimed by it’s members, Anacê has just released an EP, “ID”, the second of their career, with 5 songs recorded in one single take, as it was a band’s performance on stage; a true identification card of the Anacês, and their passport to play on stages of the world, bringing their music to everyone with a striking and catching passion.
