I was born in Mexico City in 1983 and began singing before I could even speak. I took private piano and singing lessons for many years and began formal music studies when I was eighteen at Fermatta Academy in Mexico City.
For the first time I discovered the tools to develop what is now my biggest, truest passion and the mission of my life: writing. I realized that it was through songs and music that I could express my feelings, points of view and philosophy to the world. In 2002 I worked for Peermusic Publishing and in 2003 got a scholarship to go to Berklee College of Music in Boston and study Contemporary Writing and Production with voice as principal instrument. I graduated from Berklee in 2006.
Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to perform and share my music at local radio, television and various music forums and cultural festivals in Boston and Mexico City, such as Berklee Performance Center, All Asia, The Middle East, Bataclán, Rojo Vivo, Festival San José, Colectivo Revolución en Acción, TV Mexiquense, and Acir Radio.
During 2007 I have been in Mexico working on the independent production of an album with my original songs and presenting a show of this material with a band.
