Angie Hammer & The nails was formed in 2004 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Angie Hammer. After playing in various bands for many years, he finally decided it was time to start his solo career.

The Nails` line up consists of talented and experienced musicians with a long history of playing in bands. Together they make a solid foundation for Angie`s songs.

As a singer/songwriter Angie is inspired by american artists like Tom Petty and Dan Baird, but also by fellow Norwegians as the late Marius Muller and Torstein Flakne from Stage Dolls.

When it comes to musical style, this is first of all rock`n roll, but there`s also elements of blues, country and pop mixed into it. The main thing is just to write good songs, then people can call it what they want....

Angie Hammer & The Nails are having fun doing what they love the most and are trying to give you, the audience, a good musical experience! They mainly do original songs, but the Live set list also includes some covers.

The Nails`stage performance is contagious, so if you ever come to a concert we can guarantee you`ll be infected!
