Screaming verses, melodic choruses, and virtuosic instrumental playing make up the meat and potatoes of Arc of Descent's music. This poly-rhythmic quintet features neo-classical progressive metal-core, similar to Soilwork and In Flames. Arc of Descent has been together since February 2005. Since their first show in February 2006, they have been gathering fans rapidly across the world and gaining attention from national promoters and regional venue owners in the New York area. Recently they have performed at the world famous, CBGB's OMFUG, in MEANY Fest (Musicians & Emerging Artists New York) and since that performance, Arc of Descent have been asked to offer Jamie as a panelist on CMJ's Music Marathon. He was one of only five musicians on the panel discussing "From Glam to Death: Metal Subgenre Feasts" including Trevor Phipps of UNEARTH, Freddy from Chthonic, Justin from Most Precious Blood, and Jimmy from AnAka.
