Audysi was created out of the idea of fusing together two very different but similar music genres into one cohesive music force in 1997 by Anthony Beauford. Everything from heavy metal to R&B was tapped to help bring to life this unique musical vision from one the most progressive Hip Hop artist currently around today. Anthony Beauford began making his mark on music at the age of 16 in high school in Denver of 1988. His first venture in to the hip hop game began with his first rap group named Rock Deluxx in the fall of 1987. On the strength of the single Here We Are, he enjoyed some local success that landed him in the Denver Post for a story about the areas’ hottest hip-hop artists.However In 1989 Rock Deluxx had ended their run as a hip hop unit and disbanded by the fall of that year. However later the following year, thanks to a tip given by a guy named Jimmy “Tempo” Thompson Anthony met DJ Dizzy D. Anthony and Dizzy D. really found an affinity musically together. The name of this new hip hop group was dubbed Bass Station. Over time Bass Station honed their own sound and style lead by writer Anthony Beauford. After Bass Station ended, Anthony Beauford was struggling to find his musical voice. In 1997 however he found that instead trying to please everyone he found his voice and started to make music for himself.
