The concept for Baptized In Blood started in November of 2004.

At that time, Stevil, T.C. and J.C.B. came up with the idea for the band. From that point, we started auditioning drummers and bass players. It wasnt until February, 2005 that we discovered our drummer, Cory and bassist Jason. From that moment, we started the writing process of our current 14 song list.

Over the next 2 months, we designed our artwork for the logo, T-shirts, and started our website, and recorded our 5 song EP - The Dark Inception, Vol. 1. As the end of April approached, we played our first show.

In June of 2005, due to our bassist Jasons lack of dedication and creative differences, we parted ways with him and secured the final spot in our line up with Matt Lurch.
