Hello brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that God's peace over you all. I just felt lead to share something with you, my family. A while back, I had an impulse to start a blog of testimonies, inviting anyone to write a testimony of our Lords greatness in their lives. The challenge is to testify good news all of the time. This life is full of bad news, of which news media flourishes. I know this life has plenty of good as well. through prayer, I think the Holy Spirit is saying to share the truth. If we reflect on scripture, it seems like the very first week of creation was the best week in history. I'm not sure how long it took after He created the world before the great fall. I know that our Father knew of everything to come to pass, and it often confuses us on why He would allow any of the bad to take place at all. Though God is working all things together for those who are in Christ Jesus, I can't help but wonder about those who never knew Him or had the opportunity. I guess that within us all is an innate desire crying, Abba father. Even the most skeptical will cry out to the Lord at least once in this lifetime. It saddens me to know that it usually takes tragedy or desperation to reach this point, and I am also guilty of the same thing. Every sin, every bad thought or desire not taken captive unto the Lord Jesus Christ is a denial of the living Christ. I understand Peter more than I want to sometimes. I understand (can relate to) many of the people throughout scripture. Scripture is God's testimony of all of us, our sinful nature, and most importantly, of Him and His nature which demands the grace which can only be given by the most High, loving Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ. He gave us choice, which is freedom, even though he knew what we would do with it. God has saved us, and now we must be conformed to His likeness while we remain here. When we submit to him we will see the changes taking place. They may hurt, and we may feel confused, but believe me, our confusion is based on our understanding and feelings. God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, but he will see it through to completion. Growing in grace is sometimes very painful, but I have never felt more close to the Lord than then. I love you all, and pray that we all enjoy God's perfect peace as we grow to know Him. God bless!!!
