My Ankle Surgery
I fell in the bathroom one morning and thought I had a sprained ankle. I swelled up, hurt like hell, and I could barely walk. After 2 days, I went to see my physician about it. He took x-rays and found I had a broken fibula (the smaller leg bone) at the ankle. When my orthopedic surgeon opened me up, he noticed a small tumor on my ankle bone. He removed the tumor, which had eaten away much of my ankle causing it to weaken and allowing my leg bone to break, and filled it back up with a paste that would harden. Then put about a 6 inch metal plate with 6 screws and bolt to fix the severe fracture in my fibula. Luckily, the tumor is not cancerous.

I was at the hospital that day. They were serving something new in the lunch line. I thought it tasted like old tumor ;)
