Rikki was born on January 15, 1980 at Cook County Hospital, in Chicago Illinois. For most of his young life he resided at Stateway Project on the south side. He was introduced to music at a very young age. His Mother always had music playing in their home. Rikki became very familiar with the music of the Temptations, The Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye, often singing along with them as they played through the house. He also enjoyed his Mother singing in the house and in the church choir. When Rikki played in the courtyard he was also exposed to constant music. It is easy to see where the beginning of Rikki’s love for music stemmed.
