Bill Kurzenberger is a dynamic keyboardist / singer / songwriter / guitarist from Columbus, Ohio. He currently plays keyboards and Hammond organ with The Bug Hounds, The Resonators, Stone Groove and John Mullins Band, in addition to his solo performances.
Bill's influences range from Americana blues to funk to Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. He has recorded in the studio with acts ranging from the Ritchey Brothers Band to Thee Hands of Tyme. Over the past decade, Bill has played many of Ohio's premier venues including the Newport Music Hall, the House of Blues, the Beachland Ballroom, the Winchester Music Hall, Legend Valley and Frontier Ranch Music Center. With various bands, Bill has supported and shared the stage with renowned artists such as the Marshall Tucker Band, Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band, David Nelson Band, Derek Trucks Band, Keller Williams, Hot Tuna, Blues Traveler and ekoostik Hookah.
In 2005, Bill recorded and produced his debut solo CD entitled "Suspending Disbelief". Recorded at Rome Recording Studio in Columbus, it features six songs selected from over a decade of original material. The CD also features Ed Ritchey, Scott Maruskin, Scot Gassen, Julie Rearick and Craig Harpley. "Suspending Disbelief" is available online at CDBaby, Apple iTunes, Rhapsody and Napster.
