My influences were my mom and step dads friends the Wolff family, alot of people would get together at diffrent friends houses and have what we called a work day. During day light hours 1 man ran a fire pit cooking a pig or deer or alot of chicken while the rest of the able folks were building a porch or barn or fixing a roof. At night we would eat and relax and bring out the band witch would range anywhere from 4 or 5 people all the way up to 15 people singing and playing various instruments.
