I started playing the piano at an early age, imitating my father and brothers. In grade school I participated in music class playing flutaphones, piano, xylaphones and so on and performing in numerous programs. In high school I joined the women's choir and performed in many concerts, solos and ensembles. I also joined the high school band and played the flute and saxophone. When I was 14 my father taught me how to play rythum guitar and would listen to songs on the radio and learned how to play the guitar by ear. On my 16th birthday, my parents bought me my first guitar. That was when I first started writing my own material, which is my passion!
In 2004, I signed publishing contracts with Mike Black of Gaylord Music Company. Then in 2005, Bill Hillman of Destiny Worldwide Entertainment, signed "For You to Know" to use as a song in their independent film, and soundtrack, "Mr. Toy", whch was released in the Fall of 2006.
As I wait for something big to happen one day, I am singing writing and recording every chance that I get and am determined to make my dream for my family and I come true!
