His name reflects of the reaction of a listening audience. His sound leaves you craving more and realizing that there may be an impending hazard if this artist continues to safeguard both his abstract lyrical and musical ability.

Brav-O began entertaining his first fan on July 3, 1985. Born Korry Parker in Salem, New Jersey Brav-O received his stage name early in his youth from his mother. As he displayed his musical talent she exclaimed “Brav-O!”. Since then this young man has always had a phenomenal ear for sound. His talent was inherent in his ability to use household items, coins, and just anything he could find to create music. Coupled with his musical ability, his animated demeanor and love of the spotlight make him a skilled musician and performer.

Some of Brav-O’s musical influences are producer Quincy Jones and Hip-Hop artists Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J. Through the longevity of these artists and their musical careers Brav-O finds points of reference in an evolution of sound. Brav-O pulls from many sources to create his sound, such as Soul, Old School Rap, R& B, Blues, Funk, Jazz, and just sound in general. Producing both the lyrics and the music his first solo album, “Round of Aplaud” has given Brav-O the most rewarding accomplishment.

South Jersey’s local radio station Power 99FM and 101.7 both air two of his singles “Who Tha Best IZ” and “Faul Bak”. Some of the other local stations 98.9; 103.9; 96.5; 101.7 play the single “Faul Bakk”. Brav-O has done an on air interview with 101.7FM. Also, as both a rapper and a producer, Brav-O has waorked with Roc-A-Fella Records, Bad Boy, J-Records, and Universal Records.

Unlike a great deal of popular music that stops at “the streets” the work of this young man reaches out to all audiences, from different geographic locations to various cultural backgrounds. Brav-O is also the part owner of Nex Level Enterprises. Nex Level is an entertainment company that reaches beyond mundane typical urban music. Nex Level Enterprises is like a community that beyond Hip-Hop music and culture also incorporates Gospel Music, Spoken Word, and Modeling. Brav-O does a great deal of the production work for many of the other artists affiliated with Nex Level. Working with Nex Level demonstrates Brav-O’s ability to work with other artists on varying projects. Brav-O truly understands sound and blends it into intricate, abstract and creative music.
