They say good things come to those who wait. For Thirteen years, Carroll Walters aka "Glizzy" has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to be recognized and respected in the world of hip-hop. Almost a decade and a half, he is still paying dues through music. Covering topics such as poverty, violence and incarceration all of his songs reflect a rough upbringing.

Since his first appearance on the 1993 "Gunrunnerz" LP, hip-hop has always been Glizzy's solace. Alongside the Bronx's native son Peter Gunnz, the Gunrunnerz LP went on to sell more than 150,000 units independently.

Currently Glizzy is a member of "The Militia" a group spawned from "Deja 34 Entertainment" and the NBA's star Shaquille O'neal's record label. Its' members include rappers Rain, Hash, Lord Tariq, Peter Gunnz and Peter's son Corey Gunnz.

Throughout the years his persistence, dedication and perseverance has given him the opportunity to not only craft and hone his mic skills, but to showcase his talents winning numerous competitions at sold out events. Music luminaries began to take notice of Glizzy's measured ascent, as he continued to hurdle the music industry barriers with skillful rhymes that garnered unique marketing opportunities.
