B-Starr, a native from San Antonio knows that. Focising on sports, reading music, making beats, rapping, creating artist stuff; he's putting that all into one thing.



BSTARR INTERVIEW (ONE)
First things first, how did you get into Music?
My first inspiring day was hearing the "Temptations"; If you want to go Old skool.... Because my parents listened to that. The "O' Jays", Gladius Knight, etc...
I then was introduced to Hip-Hop around 5 years old. It was like "N.W.A", "Naughty by Nature", ya know [laughs]. Then there was the Pop era, with classics. I saw Sisqo alot. I saw Fabolous alot, I saw Jay-Z alot. I noticed they and I stand out. So I needed to do something in music.
I was into beats, so I started making beats at around 9 years old. I then started rappin' around 12 years old. It was hard at first to adapt....because what you say and how you say it, is totally different when recorded.



What do you beleive, makes you stand out so much?
Just something that is expected from other people. Ya know how you see somebody, and say "They are bla bla bla"
I suppose people expect something from me, if theyre around me alot.

What is the one thing, you have trouble with?
Actually doing what can be done, and that thing being done, considered great. Like you can have all the skills, wither in Basketball, Music, drawing, whatever.... if you dont have the mental part down to make it great, it will enever show like it needs to show. I have this problem.


Would you still sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah..... [yelling]
I'll climb the tower of Americia for one.

Fabolous, Nelly, Lil Flip, Nas, Tupac, Sisqo, & Mase.
