Chadsko are one of the top original unsigned bands in Ireland going strong since February 2005. They are a 6-piece that create sweet toe-tapping sounds that reach out to all ages. Their music has an upbeat melodic feel-good texture with a touch of funk but it’s hard to pigeon-hole an exact genre. It's this contrast in musical consistency that give them their unique summer sound.

Members of the group are Denis McLaughlin (guitar/vocals), Caolán McLaughlin (piano keyboards), Ryan O’Doherty (guitar/vocals), Oisin Cannon (electric guitar/vocals), Paddy Danagher (bass) and Scott McGettigan (Drums).

The band have an intimate following (with people adding to it all the time) who never fail to sing and dance along with their music. Trumpet player, Linley Hamilton (toured with The Commitments, Van Morrison and did studio work for Paul Brady) has also performed along side them. Mr Hamilton also runs an entertainments company in Belfast and is promoting the band there.

Their debut 5-track EP was recorded, mixed and mastered by them all(available to buy in Cool Discs,Foyle St,Derry-£5).The band have played gigs in Derry, Bundoran, Belfast, Letterkenny, Dublin and even Liverpool with more shows on the way.They are in the local papers and receive radio play regularly and came 2nd in Ireland in the Global Battle of the Bands.Check them out and always remember,
