"THE CHECKSOUND" is an Ukrainian Indie/Pop music band, formed in 2005 in Poltava. The band is initially made up of Victor Pavlus (guitar/vocals/songwriter), Vadim Kurilekh(vocals/guitar), Maxim Shtangey (drums). Alexey Derzhgovsky(bass guitar) has joined the band last.
