Born on the Ides of March, in North Carolina; raised in Germany as a youth (in Hitler's favorite city.) Moved back to North Carolina during high school. A month after high school Chill joined the Army where he trained to be a radio operator. During his first 2 year stint, Chill was given the opportunity to try out for a Jr. College basketball team just outside Dallas Texas. After making the team and playing 1 season there, Chill transferred to East Texas State University.
We call in "going from the barracks to the dorm."
One hot, boring, dull, dusty day in east Texas, Chill skipped class to devise a "plan".
Part of the plan was to go to California, and, to make a record. After landing in California and rocking the mic amongst the best of them, the name Chill E.B. was forever chiseled in the foundation of bay area hip hop/rap. "The style is versatile just in case they ask!"
