Born June 22, 1983, in the small city of Rock Hill, South Carolina, William Walker was a very curious child. Listening to the sounds of artists such as James Brown, Sam Cooke, and Smokey Robinson, became a valuable tool in building his style. William moved to Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of seven. In 1995, William began writing songs when he was approached by the father of one of his long-time friends, Donald Wright. When asked to write his first song, William wrote three songs that same night. Donald Wright was very impressed with William's talent and perserverance. He told William that he would like the opportunity to help prepare him for the industry. He began listening to artists such as Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. He also began studying different styles of music, ranging from Jazz to Rock.

William prided himself with his amazingly versatile style. William had many performances in his area and shocked many. People wondered how a person of such a young age could make music that could reach those two to three times his age. William's flavor is a north/south mix.
