Confinement was founded in 2001 by Ron Newman, Richie Bauer, and Chris Weber. Chris left soon after and was replaced by our current drummer Eric McCloskey. Eric is super talented and we now have the perfect third person for the band. We like to play original music and we like to play hard. But our songs have tasteful melodies and are tastefully written. We would describe ourselves as "old school soldiers". We love to play for people and would play for free just to get the chance to play our original songs for other people. We also play cover songs when we are the only band playing that night. We cover the songs that we love like Metallica, Green Day, Ramones, Judas Priest, 311, Iced Earth, we are all over the place. We are very excited to be participating in the Emergenza Festival for unsigned bands.
