What sup, this is DJ from Crooked Faces telling the story. The show is finally set @ July 23rd at the Cajun House 7117 E. Third Avenue, Scottsdale. Sorry about all the confusion, but now it’s final. I’d like to thank all the fans of our music for supporting us this far. It’s been a long road for the band, especially me and Quinto. But now were finally getting our shit off the ground. We’ve been with Nesta from when it began and AV was just learning how to record. But since then we’ve been constantly progressing the style, sound and equipment. It’s possible we might play at the clubhouse on July 19th but it’s not official yet. I’m so pumped and I hope to see everybody there. We’ve been working so hard throughout all the bullshit when the dream of the band almost went to shit. When Quinto ran away from court back in Nov. 2004 and I got sent to boarding school in Flagstaff, shit kinda seemed lost. I came back to Phoenix only to get in a fight with my dad and be on the run again. We were runaways until after Christmas, staying @ the house of beer 1 and 2. Soon I started living with my friend with an ok from my mom. This is where I wrote Green Inspirado. Quinto got arrested after a crazy ass trip to Cali. But when I went to court for my assault and runaway charges, I went to SEF for a few weeks. The funny thing is that Quinto got transferred to SEF from Cali jail and we saw each other in there. But when I got out I was put on home detention for a few months. Meanwhile Quinto was in SEF for another few weeks, followed by rehab, and court ordered wilderness survival camp. During the time I was on Home Detention, I wrote a bunch of songs when I had access to my guitar again. One I wrote for Quinto called SET ME FREE along with 2 other songs, Home detention Sucks and Meloncholy. ***TO BE FINSHED......
