Dan Saklofske, a.k.a. D-SAK, was born in Calgary, AB. Canada, in 1985. Since early childhood, music has played a major roll in his life, coming from a family of musicians. While he enjoys many genres of music, he fell in love with rap/hip hop from the start. Not only does Dan write lyrics, he also has a passion for creating the music to match.

D-SAK Round 1 is Saklofske’s debut ep. Using the internet as a promotional tool, a large number of people have had the opportunity to hear his work, providing plenty of positive feedback. He brings a fresh vibe to the Canadian hip-hop scene with Round 1, a
collection of his best songs at the time of recording. This disc has something for everyone, whether your taste be an up-beat “club banging” Breathe or an emotional Get Away. Each track touches on a different subject and style of hip-hop, often integrating singing into the mix as well.
