  Dagaz was started by myself, Thomas Guevara or as I like to be known musically, Thodrekr, in the summer of 2006. I have been a real Asatruar (Believer in the old Norse Gods) since 2003 and felt that it was time to start a viking metal project. I picked up my bass and started to write. After many toils and troubles, especially learning how to play guitar to at least lay down basic tracks, I managed to come up with some songs. They are far from perfect, however, I intend to some day find musicians that are into the same kind of music and have the same vision to bring Dagaz into a real 5 member band. Between here and there, I will continue to compose and look to make Dagaz and my other projects into a real success.
