DARREN OLIVIER SPURRIER [AKA DIABLO D.] BY HIS FRIENDS AND HOMMIES FROM THE WEST COAST OF LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA. Darren entered this world in 1966 the youngest of four siblings born to his parents Ollie, and Robert Spurrier in Los angeles California. Darren came into this world a fighter, he was born in the middle of the civil rights movement of the sixties, and has been fighting every since to make his mark on the world. Darren grew up first in South Central Los Angeles and then finnished growing up in the heart of East Los Angeles. Darren attended and graduated from Fairfax High School in the mid wilshire section of Los Angeles, where a lot of famous entertainers graduated from such as Demi Moore, Randy Jackson of the Jackson 5, and a few other high profile entertainers. Darren went on after graduation to pursue his dream of going into the medical field, in which he did. Darren's first dream was to be in the music industry, where he felt he could make a difference, he thought he could change the world, and make it a better place where we all could live in harmony. Even though Darren grew up in gang and drug infested area he steared away from drugs because he saw what it was doing to his friends and associates. Darren did at one time belong to one of the most notorius street gangs in Los Angeles, it was verified by local law enforcement, but Darren does not talk about it he says that, that is his past and it has nothing to do with his future, or the music industry. Darren has family in Utah, Nevada and California. Darren had a wife he was with her for 23 years they were high school sweethearts her name is Patsy and she lives in Utah darren say's that they are good friends. Darren said that Patsy also writes songs, and that she has wrote a few for him. When Darren's not in the studio he likes to spend time at home playing with his pit bull puppy her name is Espiritu or with his manx cat Fudge, But when he's not playing with his pets he like's to take walks with his girlfriend Sharon, Darren and Sharon also like to play computer monopoly read the sunday paper, or just sit and talk, Darren also likes to hang out with Sharons son Billy who also has a pit bull his pit bull's name is Azul which means blue. Darren said that his mother told him that his voice and music was a gift and that he should not take those tallents for granted. Darren has a strong home base that keeps him grounded and he said that he would not change it for the world.
