David Blanche has been a part of the New Jersey shore music scene for 15 years in several forms.Moving from the lower East Side section of N.Y.C. And playing in several "CBGB"type bands in the 80's. Blanche moved to the Jersey shore and joined Godspeed and was signed to Atlantic Records six months later. After one as described by many groundbreaking CD "Ride", and touring Europe and the states behind it with bands such as Black Sabbath and Dio, Godspeed called it quits.Blanche later formed a 70's punk band in the 90's and was one of the first to do it but got tired of the whole music scene.one studio (Attitude what Attitude?) and one live (Happy F'n New Year) CD came out of that.After rasing a family and getting a pilots license and starting an Aerial photography business Blanche was at it again. Staggerwigg was described as a "song band".Bob Makin a well respected rock journalist in the NY metro area has called Staggerwigg's first release the best indie cd of 2005. Check it out on cdbaby.com .The new CD is Before We Drown. Several area papers had it #1 on their end of year top ten.
