‘Defect’ is Mind Manipulating metal band from Sunbury, Victoria Australia.

Defect started in January the year 2000 with the youngest member Daniel (vocals) who was only 12 years old at the time, four years later Defect are still pushing there music talent to the limits by playing as many shows as possible and writing new material every week.
Defect is known for there exploding stage show and ability to get the crowd off there feet.

Members of defect include Daniel (Vocals) Kane (Guitar) H (Guitar) Coby (bass) Ben (drums), and are all aged between 16 and 19 years of age. throughout their career Defect have played at a number of great venues such as the hi-fi bar, The art house, The Evelyn and a large number of festivals.

‘Defect’ Have played with some of Australia’s best bands such as ‘Frankenbok’, ‘Superhiest’, ‘KillingHeidi’ just to name a few.

‘Defect’ won the Woodend ‘Push Start battle of the bands’ two years in a row and are now headlining there own shows and are currently planning for interstate tours planned for the coming months.
Defect have completed four demo C.D’s and are currently in the process of completing there first E.P witch will be out JULY 05!
