Void got his turntables in 1993, but began skratching in 1997 after hearing The Shiggar Fragger series. Within 2 years, he joined the Audio Orphans crew to play at tons of local clubs and ended up opened for hip-hop acts like Goodie Mob, Alkaholiks, The Roots, and Outkast among others. Briefly gaining some battle experience, Void won the 2000 Guitar Center Oregon Spin-Off and entered in The Battle at the Terrordome. In 2001, he recorded his first album/mixtape, "Unhealthy and Unwealthy" and had D-Styles and Melo-D perform at his PDX and SEA release parties. Working with multiple artists, such QuiVaH, Forgotten Dialect, DJ Wicked, and Brokaw, Void has made his name synonymous with skratching. His latest project "The Dj Void Ep" has 8 all-skratched compositions and features Dj Sidetrak.
