DNR

It all began at the end of 2003. A young enthusiast Alex Prelovac decided to create something new. His first, and best step, was bringing a vocalist Marko Turina to the band. This time it was about to be serious, and it was. A similar way of thinking, good communication and inspiration between the two, resulted in infinite source of ideas. There was a strong will to use electronics, loops and sometimes spooky sounds . A month after gathering the whole band, they finished 2nd out of 32 bends on the biggest rock festival in Croatia, RI- Rock. The band was called ATHA.

Over the last year some left, and new musicians joined the band, but the core stayed the same. At the end of the year 2005, the band changed it's name to DNR (Do Not Resuscitate).

Today, DNR counts 4 members:
Marko Turina – vocal,
Alex Prelovac – guitar, vocal,
Buha – bass
Insanus – drums.

A demo album «God's toys» was recorded 06.2005. in 5 days, not at studio, but at home.
A second album is about to be recorded and will sound more agressive and dynamic.

The variety of ideas, the easiness of creating new songs, the hunger for success are surely the main factors for a band to succed. DNR has all three, and more...
