DRIVEN is the name selected by founder Curtis Williams (Curtis WAW) for the band that was formed from a group of musically talented Christian young people in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Caribbean West Indies. Born out of a meeting called before the first national concert in 2004, the band came together to perform a mixture of cover and original songs which carry messages of warning and encouragement both for the people of God and those who have not experienced Him in their lives as yet.
Since its inception, DRIVEN has performed extensively in St. Vincent, and has also ministered in St. Lucia and Trinidad. Because of the youthfulness of its members, there have been many changes in faces due to factors of life such as studies, family commitments, and migrations, among others. The ministry still thrives forward in concerts and festivals, and has won multiple gold medals in their national 2008 Gospel Festival.
DRIVEN is known for its high energy, choreography, tight harmonies and passionate ministry. The band, now eight members, is still young and has quite a new face, and the sound is just beautiful, so we praise God for allowing us this opportunity to stand and keep on standing in face of many challenges.
Currently, the band is in the studio with hopes of this year %u2013 2009 %u2013 completing a CD and accompanying music videos. You will find works of DRIVEN over the years online at our various sites on facebook and myspace.
We would like very much to thank those of you who would have been there for us in the past and still are there encouraging us to go on and do a good thing for Jesus. Know that we shall continue to do what ever the Lord requires of us as His servants and as He truly deserves it all %u2013 it is our reasonable service to Him!
