If you're from the south, chances are you've heard something of Dutch Dirty. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in South Miami, He draws his inspiration from his upbringing in the notorious Dade County neighborhood known as "The Village". He relocated to Tampa in 2004 and co-founded EN-V-US Records with Central Park native, Fred a.k.a "Monsta". A founding member of Tampa's legendary rap group Da Thoroughbreadz, he was behind the classic joints, "Central Park Hop" and "Getcha Girlfriend!". Their self-titled album release went on to sell a respectable 12,000 plus, strictly by word of mouth. However, in early 2006, shortly after the group's first national tour was announced, Monsta was re-incarcerated, leaving Dutch Dirty no choice but to continue his music career on his own. After a brief hiatas, Dutch began recording his debut solo album late last year, refusing to return to the lifestyle that got his parter caught up. Himself having served 6 years in prison for armed robbery, Dutch Dirty is determined to leave his mark in the rap game. Not only has he recorded alongside Atlanta's T.I., earning a coveted spot on DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz series mixtapes (DJ Drama presents The P.S.C....The Indictment), but he was also featured on T.I.'s "King of The South Tour" last year, and has toured several times with T-Pain. He helped to produce and promote Tampa's supergroup, The Tribe, and collaborated on several songs with their lead artist, Semi-Auto. Dutch Dirty has been featured in several national music magazines and DVD's, and has a starring role in an upcoming independant movie being released this year. Most recently, he has undertaken a new group project, Executive Producing "The Re-Offenders", and is busy putting together their debut Mixtape, "Closed Custody", and just wrapped up shooting on the debut music video for their first single, "I Drop Cash"... Dutch is currently wrapping up production on his debut album, which is scheduled for release in 2008 and features guest appearances from national artists T.I., JT Money, and Gucci Mane, as well as local up-and-coming artists Bigg Smooth, Owe'Jive of The Underdawgs, The Tribe, Ant Dogg, Da Thoroughbreadz, DarkHeartz and Dellescoth. Always the humble one, Dutch Dirty can still be found out and about in the streets of his current home, St. Pete, as well as his hometown of Miami, frequenting local nightclubs and businesses.
