DYMEZ better known as "The Black Hugh Hef."

Originally from Kingston, NY Exit. 19 (Upstate NY) started at the age of 14 during a local talent show. Started out in a group known as L.I.A.S.O.N. (Livest, Illest, Allie, Squad of Nigga's) The group of 8 rappers later broke up into 3 artists and formed TCU (Three Crown's United). The first release was Main Event in 1998. After many shows at their local high school, they got the opportunity to perform at a local Club in Boston Massachusetts. After creating a name locally DYMEZ ventured into the West Coast and began producing with Producer/engineer PLEX (originally from St. Louis) in a Bay Area studio. After creating 6 underground albums DYMEZ then made a trip back to NY to promote the music hm and PLEX created in 2002 . During his stay in NY DYMEZ hookep with various local NY artists and together they produced "The Coalition", who then released a compilation album. The album created a buzz through out the whole Tri-state area
And kept DYMEZ name alive in NY.

In '04 DYMEZ entered back into the Bay Area scene and teamed up with Frontline Music Productions ran by DIAMOND JIM and producer/engineer PLEX. Since then he has preformed with hip-hop artists such as D12, KRS1, Planet Asia, L7, and other various Bay Area stars. Performing thought out the bay area, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Jose DYMEZ NY style is gaining Bay love at a high speed.


Motivation~ Family particularly his younger sister. Injuries prevented DYMEZ from pursuing his basketball career. So he made the natural procession into the music Industry.

DYMEZ comes into the show with skills including versatility, adaptation, and a unique voice that separates him from other artists. He speaks for the silenced, and can paint a picture with words.
