  I'm a rapper. I write my own beats, and I've been doing this for a little over 6 years. This is all done on my home computer with a $10 compter mic I bought from wal-mart and a shareware program that I've pretty much completely mastered in every aspect. I've been using this program (modplug tracker) through out the six years. Only recently have I started using programs like "sound forge" and "cool edit". They perform the same basic function as the shareware program "sound engine". If I just had studio aquiptment, imagine the possibilities.
