Music has always been in my life ever since I was a child. I remember when my father would let me ride in his car and he would give me money, if I could guess the name of the song and the year it was released. At the age of seven I was given an electric piano for Christmas by my mother, she influenced me to learn different chords and keys. When I entered the third grade I was enrolled in the music program and began to be intrigued by the alto sax. I excelled at learning the scales and reading music which got me a spot on the schools marching band. As an extra activity after school I started to learn the bass cello and enjoyed the finest it took to learn. As I grew and life changed so did my environment and my interest, except for my love of music. When I was moved to the south I auditioned for the honor band at my new school, but they didn’t let freshman play in honors band. So I lost interest in the school band as well as practicing music, but never lost the sound of music in my heart, mind and soul. As I got older and experienced much more in my life I found myself drawn to music in a way that needed to be feed. I was starving to create a sound that was my own and creative. So in college, I got a chance to intern at a studio and learn many ins and outs about the music business. I took that knowledge and applied it with full force as I moved back to New York and to work at a major studio as an engineer/producer. So through my life music has always been my way to express myself when I couldn’t find the words too!
