I have been in several bands, none which you will have heard of, usually in the position of the singer\guitarist who must write all songs and fulfill lead and rhythm guitar duties while being backed by a minimal rhythm section of bass and drums. None of these acts ever suceeded beyond a local scale and I am currently working on an Acoustic guitar based solo album, which since I have released very rough demos of the first three songs on the album onto the web , has recieved far more positive feedback and great reviews than any of the bands EVER have. I suppose to sum it up I'm trying to approach the acoustic troubador from an altogether unique angle, in other words I am trying to create an ORIGINAL sound and do NEW things within this genre, in other words:No F-D minor-D-F generic Joan Baez\kumbaya strummy pieces that could almost be public domain in the way that an old blues standard is. Beautiful, dark and minimalistic is the sound.
