Eternal Rest Records and Promotions was initiated in June of 2005. The Record Label and Promotion Company was started by former Another Dark Day lead guitarist and Co-founder of Durham Colleges Backrow Records, Dan MacInally. Eternal Rest Records is a PROMOTIONAL RECORD COMPANY. The purpose of Eternal Rest Records is to promote local Durham Region and Canadian bands and get them exposure across Canada and the world.

Eternal Rest Records is a label unlike many others. We not only put together promotional compilation CDs, we also put on local concerts, and have our own compact recording studio to record small projects for local artists.
