Euphonic Dissonance (or ED) melds musical styles from the past and present. Matt and Brian employ hardware and software instruments to explore new realms in a sonic séance assembled from elements of rock (classic, gothic, indy and postrock) and electronic (house, 2step, and techno). They are constantly pushing the envelope, evolving, never standing still. The music is a fusion of old and new instruments. They will use any acoustic or electric instrument at their disposal.
EDs live show usually leads to pleasant surprises. They are continually changing the reportoire to include theatrical dynamics that attract and keep a crowd. Drawing influence from the stage shows of Peter Gabriel and David Bowie, Brian will take on different characters at different points during the set.
