Our band started out of 3 members: Brett, Austin, and Tyler playing just for the love of music. Little did we know it would last this long. For nearly 4 years, Follow has been playing music in a small garage outside of Rugby, ND. Though we've only played 3 shows, we have the confidence to play much more.
With addition of our newest vocalist, Keenan Sattler, we are pushing hard to get him prepared to play shows around North Dakota. We all love music and have a passion for playing it live to audiences.
Follow is a Heavy Metal/Hardcore band with powerful choruses and heavy breakdowns. We usually end up topping off our songs with another heavy breakdown that way we never leave the crowd unsatisfied.
Though we can be fast paced and heavy we are not afraid to take it down a notch and throw some slow, clean guitar in. We can get melodic and serious like a deep conversation.
Follow can be described by a heavy, crunching sounding guitar that can take it to a melodic stage in a heartbeat. Brett will leave you in a trance and have you waking up beating the living shit out of people in a mosh pit.
The bass is always moving the sound through groovy/funky fingerstyle patterns with a gurgling pig sound that will leave you puking in a trash can and in shock from the slap/pop surprise attacks.
The drums will sweep you off your feet with fancy footwork and melodic tom-work. With a powerful loud kit and a ping ride that will leave you with stains in your shorts, Austin is not afraid to play loud and proud.
The vocals are the newest and still need to be broken in. But fear not!! His death growl will leave your face melting. His singing voice automatically makes the chicks boobs fall out.
Last but not least is the lyrics. Mostly all made from deep within Tyler's heart (with the exception of Brett writing a song and our former vocalist writing a couple too) these lyrics will leave you thinking hard and will warm your heart. Every song has a deep meaning with a story to back it up.
