Fulkrum was formed in May 2006 from the ashes of Houston bands Grendyl (death metal), and Napom (metal). The idea was to create something original. Using metal influences, the band quickly wrote several songs. These songs formed the basis of the debut EP, Suicydal Payne. After the Ep's release, the band began to play more and more shows, venues, and areas, all the while finding more and more fans. In early 2007, the band signed with GMP Records, the former home of Grendyl. The band is now in the studio recording, what will become, their debut album on this label. No name is set yet, but rest assured, this stuff will kill.
