So who is this chick? G-Child is a 23 year old, white punked out tomboy Straight out of Allentown, PA, she is by far unlike the average girl next door. This individual who's style would be best described as an ol' skool soul is like a walking timebomb ready to explode her views and spit all over the mainstreams opinion. YOU MAY KNOW HER FROM VH1'S EGO TRIP'S: THE WHITE RAPPER SHOW!!! (first aired Jan 8th 2006) Gina, goes by the stage name G-Child. She realized rapping was her passion in the early 90s thanks to rapper Vanilla Ice, who cracked number one with his single Ice Ice Baby. Although she was young, she knew what she wanted to do in the future. She was one of Ice's most humble and truest fans. Even as the media dismissed him as a joke, She stood up for him no matter what people had to say. She even has his pumpkin tattoo on her right arm; not to mention her obsession with the Halloween holiday as well. In 1994, she began writing her own lyrics. In 2000, she met her long time idol Vanilla Ice and he was nice enough to let her showcase her skills on stage at Allentowns Crocodile Rock Cafe. She freestyled at 6 of his shows; quickly making a name for herself locally. Then she started doing shows.The 1st was opening for Vanilla Ice Dec 18th 2004. After that, she opened for The Ice man everytime he was in her hometown and played variouse other local festivals, bennifit shows and venues alog with hype man Masta' Skillz and then DJ ,Scram. With Maney struggles of Shaddy Peeps in the industry, She soon relized Everyone is in it to help you, BUT to then turn there back on you As she worked with many local artisits and producers. She is known worldwide thanks the Vh1 exploiting her but is curently still struggling to get by in the underground and searching for the next crew to work with who is open minded and has the same vision. She has opened for Other underground rap artists such as King Gordy, ABK, AJAX and more. If you are down with her influences like KottonMouth Kings, Vanilla Ice, Beastie Boys, Kid Rock, House of Pain, Cypress Hill, Crazy Town, La Coka Nostra and Funk Doobiest or if your a Juggalo of Juggalette or down for the crown then youll dig the sound. The lyrics are packed with emotions that you can feel. Each song has a different vibe or a unique blend usually filled with angst or anger, packing that Ol' Skool punch.! She basically just loves music, making it with her homies and letting other people listening to it. Is the world ready to get G'd up? Hopefully!
