Also he's a member and one of the lead vocalist for Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame / and Gospel Hall of Fame: "The Legendary Soul Stirrers".
He's also the brother of Rock Recording
Artist: "The Late Jermaine Stewart"- best known for such hits as "Say It Again", Get Lucky", and the DJ favorite "We Don't Have To(Take Our Clothes Off)".
Gene has sung and performed with: Oleta Adams, Michael Bolton, Marvin Winans, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Soul Stirrers, Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Gospel Keynotes, The Pilgram Jublees, acted on stage with, actor Charle S. Dutton, The Blind Boys of Alabama.
Now released his own CD album project titled: "A Change Is Gonna Come" which is a tribute to Sam Cooke, and he released a new CD album salute to his brother Jermaine titled:
A TRIBUTE TO JERMAINE STEWART "ATTENTION".
