The Goldah project was started in the winter of 2004, in the town of Ravenna (Italy), taking inspiration from an original idea of Marco Massari and Lorenzo Salitetti, with whom Stefano Donati joined soon after. The three members (28 years old on an average), come from different musical experiences, and the writing process of the Goldah songs has surely been influenced by them. So, listening to the tracks you can hear Metal, Dark, Punk and Grunge influences generating a sound that is surely heavy, but which often recalls even pop and rock music .
Goldah immediately decided to concentrate on writing and arranging original songs, given the great musical feeling that the three members soon experimented by playing together. The result of this process was, first, the demo cd-single Scars, which favourably impressed the national Italian Radio (RAI) and gave Goldah the chance of being broadcasted worldwide during a radio programme specialized in new bands, and of appearing on the RAI web site.
Then, the band decided to start recording a real debut album. The result of this process is the self-produced cd Waiting for something to happen, that has already got very good reviews on some italian magazines and web sites.
After the release of the cd, Goldah had the chance to play live in the occasion of some important Italian festivals such as SANREMO ROCK and M.E.I..
