When I was eight years old I heard , "Along the Watch Tower" by Jimmi Hendrix. I was mesmerized. I found an old guitar in the basement and started to experiment. My parents encouraged me and gave me lessons.
I was fortunate to have several great teachers.
By early high school I was starting to perform at coffee houses and in open stages. I entered the Ottawa Bluesfest battle of the bands at 13 as a solo act and did so for several years. At age 17 I formed a band and we won the competition and earned a spot at the second largest Bluesfest in North America. A year later I was asked back.
Since that time I have played most Ottawa venues as well as a few in Montreal and Toronto. I am now studying audio and sound production at Metal Works Institute in Toronto. This is an accredited career college affiliated with Metal works studio which has been selected as Canada's top studio for the past 8 years at the Canadian Music Awards..
My plans are to integrate my new found technical knowledge with my writing, playing and singing skills into a complete package. enjoy the MP3's and drop a line with any comments.
