Del Vezeau 'officially' left the software world in 2001; two years after the release of his debut instrumental guitar album 'Paradigm'. Securing the url mp3.com/guitar in 1999 seemed apropos, considering that he was, at the time, an 'unknown arteest'. Half a million plays and downloads followed before the walls came tumbling down, but Del hardly stopped there. The demise of the digital werld forced an introduction to the real one, and he's been busy ever since, wearing the multiple hats of agent, performer and promoter. August of 2004 saw the inagural launch of the Canadian Guitar Festival; an annual 3 day music fest which showcases an incredible line up of 'Whose Who & Whose New', in the guitar world. The event also hosts the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Championship with nearly $20,000 U.S. in prizes and it all takes place near Kingston Ontario, Canada, at the Loughborough Lake Holiday Park - a 48 acre campground with 800 ft of beach front.
