Fijian born, Sydney based singer songwriter, Itu fuses mellow guitar rhythms and soulfully smooth vocal tones with intense lyrical content. The result is a melodic tapestry of beautiful thought provoking tunes.

Together with backing band THE JOY STARS which consist of Brian Campeau (electrics), Steve Short (Bass), Ed Rollo (Drums) and Claire Wyndham (bv's), Itu's well crafted songs are vibrantly and colorfully brought to life.

With several independent releases under her belt, including co-written track 'You're out' (featured on Foghorn Records 'Home Grown Roots Vol 1' compilation) and brand new album 'Love & Light' (produced at Chris Gray Studios ), Itu & The Joy Stars are steadily building an ever increasing fan base on the local and indie music scene.
