Jarrod Scott is emerging onto the scene with an exciting new and fresh sound, sure to leave listeners gasping for more. Born on Feb 18, 1985 in Penticton, Britsh Columbia, Canada, and coming out of Kelowna B.C., at the age of 19, Jarrod is only starting his evolution in the music industry. With the already promising works that have come from this new artist, we can only hold on tight and evolve with him, as his style matures, it is evident that it's only going to get better.
At the early age of 17, this drummer turned guitarist started crafting clever, hooked-out songs that were blowing the minds of peers and adults alike.
At first his style somewhat remained in the area of punk and metal, however as his listening tastes grew to bands such as the Goo Goo Dolls, the Dave Matthews Band, and Jack Johnson so did his writing styles. So now here we are.
Jarrod Scott’s insightful, and beautifully sculpted portraits leave much to the imagination, while at the same time painting a perfect view of every colour and feeling coming from within. It is these lyrics, combined with perfectly matching melodies that grab the audience and don't let go until the set is done. Blending the genres of emo, acoustic rock, folk, and pop, Jarrod has no doubted created something new, and aurally pleasing for the ears of a tired generation.
